We had great tour guides! Giovanni (French tour guide) and Lisa (English tour guide) were very knowledgeable and honest with the information they provided. It was amazing to hear about the lives of people of Pompeii and how much respect our tour guides have for the people who perished. The driver Mauricio was excellent driver especially while navigating the winding roads up to Mt Vesuvius. Pick up and drop off locations were clear. The restaurant for lunch had a wonderful view halfway up Vesuvius and the food was delicious! Definitely worth it.

Raffaele was a great guide! The information on the App was out of date compared with the information given by WhatsApp. It would also have been useful to have it adjusted if the date is changed like it was for me (I had to ask the WhatsApp person a few questions)
There are two names for two places:
- Pompeii is the Latin name of the ancient Roman town.
- Pompei is the name of the modern Italian town that is located next to the ancient town.
The spelling marks the difference between the ancient town and the modern town.
